Activities Malaga – Countryside and Costa del Sol
The finca is located very central, near to the sea and close to the highway A7. Therefore you have a huge spectrum of possible activities. Malaga, Granada (Alhambra), Nerja or Marbella/Puerto Banus can be reached within a daytrip.
For lovers of walking or hiking there are a lot of tours to the nearby mountains or along the coast. In Torre del Mar you also can rent good bicycles.
The beach
The beach is very close, only about 3 km, to be reached either by walking through dry river beds or more comfortable and quick in a short ride with the car.
Cities/Towns on the Coast – Costa del Sol
Torre del Mar and Rincón de la Victoria are typical small tourist cities with a spanish charm, where you can find a huge variety of small bars, restaurants and supermarkets and local green markets where you can buy the fruits and vegetables, nuts and almonds that Costa del Sol is wellknown for.
Nerja
Behind Nerja the natural park starts with wonderful small solitary beaches. The Caves of Nerja, which you can visit are also a highlight of every excursion in this wonderful area. There are also concerts inside of the caves.
Alhama de Granada (about 50 km from Torre del Mar)
There are hot springs a bit outside of Alhama de Granada where you can relax for free or inside a very nice Hotel with Spa area. The town tells from bygone eras with a history that dates back centuries. Lose yourself in the narrow cobbled streets of the Arabic quarter. Pass along the river, the medieval trail „Camino Los Angeles“. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays at 12.00 guided tours around the old town will be offered by the Tourist Office.
Walks and White Towns
Besides walks to the sea, you also can hike through the hilly countryside, along Avocado- Mango- and Olivefincas through small towns and villages.
Costa del Sol is also wellknown for its white towns in the countryside of Malaga and Torre del Mar, which offer a variety of traditional mediteranian cusine and an arabic flair
